One of our featured non-profit organizations on the show in 2008 was The Ron Clark Academy. Disney 2000 teacher of the year winner, Ron Clark, draws viewers into his academic world through trap doors, two story swirling slides, singing and dancing on desk, traveling to Africa and beyond all to educate the students at his innovative middle school in Atlanta, Georgia. Find out why Oprah gave his school a $365,000.00 donation to help him continue what he does for our youth. Yes, I even slide down the slide and danced like no one was watching all for a good cause.
